Excel countif function : Count Text Occurrences in Excel

This example techs you to count the number of occupancies of text in a range.

      1.     For example , to count number of cells that contains Exactly Red.

      2. For example, Number of cells that contains exactly Red + 1 character (?) can match exactly characters.

      3. For example, Match exactly star + 1 or more characters An asterisk (*) matches a series of zero or more characters.

    4. For example count number of cells that contains text.
